Department of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science
Hasselt University, Transnational University of Limburg

Starting from October 1, 2010, I will leave Hasselt University and join the Nuclear Systems Research group, an expert group of the Advanced Nuclear Systems institute at the Belgium Nuclear Research Centre (SCK-CEN).
At SCK-CEN I will join the R&D-effort to develop an ultrasonic visualization system for liquid metal in the framework of the MYRRHA-project.

Teaching

Courses I teached at Hasselt University: Students: all course information can be found on BlackBoard, time and place of lectures here

Research interests

My Erdös Number is 2.

I've been in the program commitee of ECML/PKDD, SDM, ASONAM and reviewed papers for ICDT, Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Information Sciences and the Visual Computer Journal.
